In addition to his two recent book reviews in The European Legacy, Dr. Cremer continued his work this spring as a deacon dedicated to social justice projects. He helped lead InterSem, an annual interfaith retreat for seminarians in Los Angeles to develop mutual understanding and partnerships. He was also a facilitator for the Trust Talks, a program of community reconciliation between local police and community members in the Skid Row district of Los Angeles. Lastly, he’s helping lead an effort to inform undocumented immigrants and their families concerning their rights and appropriate preparations in a time of increased deportations in the Pasadena area.
