The Healthy and Sustainable Campus Committee

This committee helps to facilitate the Woodbury community’s engagement with ideas and practices associated with broadly defined understandings of sustainability. This is done in keeping with the sustainability mission of the university.

The committee serves as a clearinghouse for all university community initiatives and practices associated with sustainability and promotes awareness of sustainability-related information to the university community and the larger community beyond. The committee facilitates curricular, co-curricular, and development opportunities for students, faculty, and staff by organizing, coordinating, facilitating, and promoting on- and off-campus activities and events associated with sustainability. The committee also proposes policy changes for consideration by WUFA and the university administration.

The committee is comprised of five faculty members — one from each academic unit  — plus two student representatives.

2019/20 Committee Members are:

Solomon Blaylock, Woodbury University Library
Annie Chu, College of Liberal Arts
Satinder Dhiman, School of Business (committee chair)
Patrick Nickell, School of Media, Culture and Design
Jason Rebillot, School of Architecture
Plus two students
