Studio Thomas Stallman and Arcaxi design install innovative art, architectural and interior design projects. Thomas is an Associate member of the IIDA and the AIA. He received his Bachelor of Fine Art Degree from MCAD, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design and his Master’s of Architecture degree from SCI-Arc, the Southern California Institute of Architecture. His architectural training included work in firms including Frank Gehry Partners and Israel Callas Shortridge and Chu. In association with these firms and his own he has worked on buildings in England, France, Spain, Czech Republic, UAE, China and throughout the United States. This work has been awarded by both the national American Institute of Architects and by the regional L.A. and S.F.V. chapters and has been featured in many architectural publications. His dedication to education includes Woodbury University, Art Institute of California and the University of California, Irvine. He has also worked as an educator for the City of Los Angeles Cultural Affairs where he organized and moderated lecture series on Art and Architecture and served as a designer of exhibitions and as a curator. He has lectured at the National Building Museum in Washington D.C. and at the John Muir Society in Los Angeles and served as the administrator for the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design.
