Duane McLemore is a founder of X Over Zero, a design firm specializing in architecture and 3d printed jewelry. Duane’s current design work and research engage with computational design, architectural geometry, and mathematical symmetries. Duane has has taught at Woodbury since 2015, and has also taught at Cal Poly Pomona and Pasadena City College. As a Board Member of the Los Angeles Forum for Architecture and Urban Design from 2011-15, and Vice President in 2014-15, Duane helped enrich the discipline of architecture in Los Angeles and globally. Duane co-edited many publications, including the Los Angeles Forum Reader, and co-curated and managed five LA Forum fall lecture series. Duane is the Faculty Advisor for the National Organization of Minority Architecture Students (NOMAS) chapter at Woodbury, and is the recipient of the 2017-18 Excellence in Teaching Award from the Associated Students of Woodbury University.
