Associate Chair, Animation and Coordinator, Design Foundation Program at Woodbury University
Doug Post is Associate Professor, Associate Chair in the Department of Animation, and Coordinator of the Design Foundation at Woodbury University. Doug worked as a Graphic Designer in Colorado, New Zealand and San Francisco designing for clients such as Aspen Ski Corporation and Hewlett-Packard. As an Animation Artist he worked for Walt Disney, DreamWorks, and Warner Brothers on films including Pocahontas, Mulan, and Tarzan. Doug has taught at Art Center College of Design, Otis College of Art and Design, Santa Monica College, and Academy of Art University. Courses include: drawing, color theory, design, graphic design, perspective, animation, and illustration. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Colorado State University and a MFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University. In addition to teaching, Doug is an artist and continues to freelance.
