Explore your creative potential. Learn about the college major and career direction that’s the best fit for you in these hands-on workshops.


Animation: Stop Motion: Life One Frame at a Time: Learn animation principles using the tools of stop motion animation. Teams will do two projects, one using dry erase board animation and one using pixilation. A reel of the stop-motion projects will be available to all attendees at the end of the day. (2.5 hours)


Applied Computer Science: Virtual Reality: Jump into your own Virtual Reality world, create impossible landscapes, limited only by your imagination. Students will understand the fundamentals behind creating Virtual Reality experiences. (2.5 hours)


Communication: Broadcasting: Find your voice: A 90-minute workshop to learn the basics of internet radio broadcasting. (90-min)


Fashion Design: Fashion Illustration 101: Join us for an introduction to fashion design illustration. Explore how to capture your fashion ideas on paper. (2.5 hours)


Filmmaking: Lights, Camera, Action! – Please join us for a demonstration of filmmaking on our soundstage. Students will help us shoot scenes as we show how camera and lights work together to make movie magic. (90 minutes – October date only)


Game Art & Design: 3D Character Design – ZBrush 101 – This is a hands-on workshop featuring the digital sculpting techniques used by professional video game artists. You will develop a sense of anatomy and create your own 3D character designs using industry standard Zbrush software. Bring your imagination and a USB drive to store screenshots of your own 3D creations! (2.5 hours) start: 9:30am / end time: 12:00pm


Graphic Design: Movie Poster Design – Learn to design an actual movie poster through the help of expert designers from the entertainment industry.


Psychology: The AsylumAn Escape Room Experience (2 – 90 min workshops) Session one: start: 9:30am / end time: 11:00am – Session two: start: 11:15am / end time: 12:45pm


Workshops will be taking place at the same time and students may only attend one. Workshop selection will be on the registration form, based off of the major selected.

PLEASE NOTE: You must be a junior or a senior in high school to attend these workshops.

Time: Check in at 9:00am – workshops begin at 9:30am sharp.
