The School of Business invites you to visit our sample lecture, “Ethics of Sustainability” where you can experience what it’s really like to be an MBA student at Woodbury. You will also have the opportunity to meet with current MBA students and faculty, learn about admission requirements and speak with an admissions counselor. The course is taught by the program chair, Dr. Satinder Dhiman.
The course focuses on the ethico-spiritual basis of sustainability in a wide variety of contemporary contexts, from the economics of consumption and growth, to government policy and creating a sustainable planet. It looks at big-picture awareness and a cosmic vision of sustainability–a vision that extends from our neighborhoods to our global community and beyond. Using case studies, Dr. Dhiman will address the practical/engaged dimension of sustainability and try to answer the question, what can we do to save the planet?
