Argentinian architect Diego Arraigada, adjunct professor at the National University of Rosario and an associate professor at the Torcuato Di Tella University in Argentina, will talk about his work.
Diego Arraigada graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of the National University of Rosario with a degree in Architecture in 1999 and from the School of Architecture of the University of California Los Angeles with a Master of Architecture degree in 2003. In 2005 he establishes his professional office in Rosario, Argentina.
Among other distinctions, he obtained the Arquitectonica Foundation Prize for young architects in 1999, the Fulbright Scholarship in 2001, the Silver Medal at the XII International Architecture Buenos Aires Biennale in 2009, and the National Prize for Technological Innovation in Architecture in 2015. In 2011 he was selected to represent Argentina in the II Latin-American Architecture Biennale in Pamplona, Spain and in 2014 he was selected for a solo exhibition at LIGA Espacio para Arquitectura, Mexico DF.
His works have been displayed in several international exhibitions including Breaking Borders Exhibition (Pratt Institute, New York, 2011); Past, Present, Future (UCLA, Los Angeles, 2010); Post Post Post (Centro Cultural de España en Buenos Aires, 2010); New Argentine Architecture Exhibition (XIII CLEFA, Buenos Aires, 2009) and the 13ª Architecture Venice Biennale (2012). His works have been widely published in specialized publications such as Summa+, PLOT, Taschen Houses Now, A+U, GA, Interni, The Plan, Ottagono, Mark, Azure, Architectural Review, Architektur Aktuell, Arquitectura Viva and ARQ Chile among others.
