The First Press Reading Series is part of the programming of MORIA, the national literary magazine of Woodbury University, founded by Writing Professor Linda Dove in 2017. Twice a year, the student editors invite nationally-recognized poets and writers for readings, discussions, book signings, and workshops. This reading features one of our Woodbury alums, Tricia Lopez ‘19, who went on to get her MFA degree and now works in publishing; additionally, the reading is in partial collaboration with El Martillo Press in Los Angeles, which is a new press focused on the work of Latinx poets from across the country. Reception included. [Ahmanson]
