Discover Woodbury Breakout Sessions

You will have the opportunity to learn about different programs offered at Woodbury University. Below is a breakdown of the multiple sessions happening during Discover Woodbury. We encourage you to look through them and join us on Saturday, January 30th prepared to attend your chosen session(s).

Breakout 1

Majors Only

Accounting:Learn how to make important high-level financial decisions for businesses or as an independent entrepreneur.
Animation:Develop characters and worlds as you produce your own animation films.
Architecture (Burbank Campus): Acquire the skills required for a career as a professional architect; the chair of our Burbank campus will lead this breakout.
Architecture (San Diego Campus):Acquire the skills required for a career as a professional architect; the chair of our San Diego campus will lead this breakout.
Communication: Tailor your education in media studies or strategic communication.
Computer Programs: We offer three different computer programs, all of which will be presenting in the same breakout room:
A) Applied Computer Science, Media Arts Use computer science as a tool to innovate within the fields of design, entertainment, and media arts.
B) Computer Science in Data Analytics Learn to combine computer science, statistics, and project management.
C) Computer Information Systems Be prepared to fill any IT role, from creating websites, to visualizing data, and leading organizations.
Fashion Design: Learn from professional faculty and industry experts so you can enter the world of fashion and costume.
Filmmaking: Study film production, screenwriting, cinematography, directing, producing, entertainment law, and more.
Fashion Marketing: Prepare for a career as an entrepreneur, digital marketer, merchandiser, buyer, creative director, or trend forecaster.
Game Art & Design:Study how to conceptualize and develop video games from scratch.
Graphic Design:Study the art of visual communication and how to build a successful career in both digital and print design.
History & Political Science: Learn about two of our majors: History and Political Science.
Interior Design:Create memorable experiences of the spaces that surround us.
Interdisciplinary Studies: Build your own major.
Management & 3+1:Learn about the Management and 3+1 BBA-MBA Accelerated programs, where you can earn both your BBA + MBA in 4 years.
Marketing:Study brand development while improving user experiences, creating loyal customers, and making firms profitable.
Public Safety Administration:Prepare for a career in criminal justice.
Psychology :Study the complexities of human behavior – both as individuals and as part of larger communities.
Professional Writing: Study to become a publisher, copywriter, technical writer, grant writer, and more.
