Instructions

Prospective or New Students

Financial aid instructions and deadlines below are for domestic students applying to Woodbury University.

Students interested in only receiving federal and state grant and loan assistance need only complete the FAFSA.

Priority Decision Applicants

Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Deadline: February 1

  • Submit Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) available online beginning October 1, referencing Woodbury Code 001343, if you wish to be considered for federal and state aid programs, and we will receive a copy of the results.

FAFSA

Note: You and your parents do not need to wait to complete federal income tax returns to complete a FAFSA. Due to recent changes students will be required to report income and tax information from an earlier tax year. On the 2017-18 Fafsa, students (and parents, as appropriate) will report their 2015 income and tax information, rather than their 2016 income and tax information. For the 2018-19 fafsa, students (and parents, as appropriate) will report their 2016 income and tax information, rather than their 2017 income and tax information. This new feature will allow students and parents to report final, accurate income information on the FAFSA as the vast majority of families will have already completed their tax returns. We strongly suggest to use the FAFSA’s IRS Data Retrieval Tool to transmit you and your parents’ income tax return information from the Internal Revenue Service to your FAFSA.
