The Showroom is used for our lecture series. Over the years we have had the pleasure of hosting may lecturers from academia to practice of the disciplines of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, music, art, and film. They have come from all over the world and many have either been emerging experts or significant contributors to their area of interest and research. Some people who have lectured in the Showroom include: Luis Callejas, Kengo Kuma, Keller Easterling, Stan Allen, Charles Waldheim, Izaskun Chinchilla, Tatiana Bilbao, Florian Idenburg and Jing Liu.
In addition, the Showroom is part of the community. Monthly planning meetings of the Barrio Logan neighborhood are held here. ULI, AIA, ASLA, the San Diego Architectural Foundation, and the Port of San Diego have all held events at the Showroom.
