Woodbury’s Hagen Talks ‘Fashion Forward’ at BDWest

Kathryn Hagen, chair of fashion design at Woodbury University, recently shared her inspiration and future vision for amping up style at BDWest. Hagen was one of the leading names from the worlds of fashion, film, and theater design featured at the San Diego trade show about hospitality design. The show drew an estimated 1,500 interior designers, architects, purchasing executives, and hospitality owners and operators to the San Diego Convention Center.

Hagen was joined at the "Fashion Forward" session by panelists Berenika Boberska, founder and principal of Feral Office, and Carl Dove, a Los Angeles-based set and prop designer. Christoph Korner, co-founder of Graft, moderated the session.

Hagen, who graduated from the Parsons School of Design in New York, is the author of "Fashion Illustration for Designers" and other published works. Her books have been translated into Korean and Chinese.
