Prof’s Work on Tijuana Library Wins International Award
Congratulations to Marcel Sanchez, associate professor at Woodbury University School of Architecture San Diego, for his work on a Tijuana library that earned the 60th Annual Progressive Architecture Award. The project is among 10 from around the world to gain the award for designs that engage people with architectural accessibility and relevance. Sanchez and partner Adriana Cuellar designed the Modulo Prep Library in the Camino Verde area of the city. The 2,368-square-foot library, which has a strong digital focus, is called the “House for Ideas.” Read more about the project HERE.
