Fashion Marketing Major Now a Style Guru for CollegeFashionista.com
While most students are excited to head back to campus, Woodbury College Style Gurus for CollegeFashionista.com are especially looking forward to the new school year. Throughout the fall semester, Amanda Herrera will be scouring campus for the latest trendsetters (known as “Fashionistas” and “Fashionistos”) to photograph for the popular Web site, CollegeFashionista.com. Besides writers from Woodbury University, the website features columns written by a variety of students, each with a differing view of fashion, all of which attend universities across the world. Just because you attend one university, doesn’t mean you are limited to the trends popping up on campuses around the world.
“Incredible style is no longer reserved for fashion capitals of the world,” said Amy Levin, Founder and Creative Director of CollegeFashionista.com. “Now, more then ever, the quads and dorm rooms of college campuses is where innovative fashion is born and booming.”
CollegeFashionista.com allows students and other young adults to view photographs of what their collegiate peers are wearing around campus and presents viewers valuable insights and tips to incorporate college vogue into their own wardrobe. At CollegeFashionista.com, each day follows a different format and topic on which the Gurus will write, such as “Style Advice,” “Accessories Report,” and “Let’s Hear it for the Boys.”
“The Style Gurus make college fashion accessible by adapting to the restrictions of the college student and appreciating the four years one has in their life to truly experiment and play with style,” said Levin.
