Faculty member Armen Karaoghlanian has contributed a chapter in an upcoming book on Audrey Hepburn

Fan Phenomena: Audrey Hepburn focuses on the transformative nature of Audrey Hepburn’s star persona, exploring her journey from ingénue to UNICEF ambassador. The book looks at her iconographic relationship with female culture and fashion and situates Breakfast at Tiffany’s alongside the works of Edith Wharton and Sex and the City.

Armen Karaoghlanian explores her relationship with designer Givenchy, while referencing her famous wardrobes in films such as Breakfast at Tiffany's and Sabrina.

Armen Karaoghlanian is the Co-Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the film and architecture journal, Interiors. In recent months, he has had his writing published in CLOG, Business Insider and ArchDaily.

Fan Phenomena: Audrey Hepburn will be released on April 22, 2014 by the University of Chicago Press and is currently available for pre-order on Barnes & Noble.
