Darfurian Refugee School Design Earns National Honor

Woodbury University School of Architecture student Artur Nesterenko has been named a winner of the ARCHIVE Being Resourceful competition for his project, "School for Darfurian Refugees: Building as a Teaching Tool," that originated in professor Jeanine Centuori's comprehensive studio. The project is a prototype school for Darfurian refugees that will be built in Chad in partnership with Darfur Rehabilitation Project [DRP] and architect Don Conway. Other winners of the ARCHIVE contest include students from Ohio State Unversity, Harvard Unversity Graduate School of Design, Syracuse University, and University of Toronto and Washington University in Saint Louis.
