Career Development

Our Mission

Our team provides programs, services and resources designed to encourage and assist students in all aspects of career planning, experiential learning, educational opportunities, and job attainment through the stages of students’ university experience, from the first year through graduation and beyond.

The Career Development office fosters partnership with employers, alumni, faculty and the community to provide opportunities for students to begin building the foundation of a successful career.

We believe that students who get involved with programs and activities beyond the classroom as early as first year are more likely to build a successful career. This includes internships, student organizations, volunteer positions, off-campus programs, and other extra-curricular activities.

The Career Development Office is a unit within the Office of Student Development and located in the Whitten Student Center.
