Baron Business Plan Winners Announced

The School of Business would like to recognize the Collegiate Entrepreneurs Organization (CEO) for the successful 6th annual Baron Business Plan Competition.

The Baron Business Plan Competition, funded through the efforts of the CEO and the generosity of Woodbury alumnus Tom Baron, is a campus-wide activity that encourages students of all majors to prepare and present a formal business plan that is judged by outside business owners.  The $5,000 cash award for this competition is shared between the top three groups or individuals presenting a plan.  Although past winners have come from the School of Architecture and the School of Media, Culture & Design, the following 2012 winners are all from the School of Business:

1st Place $3,000  – Kristelle Padilla, management major – Business plan: Caring Senior Consultants
2nd Place $1,200 – Marine Galstyan and Lilit Davtyan, marketing and accounting majors – Business Plan: Citrus
3rd Place $800 – Ashley Flores, management major – Business Plan: Lily Pet Company
