Transcript Ordering

Official transcripts are issued by Woodbury University’s Registrar’s Office and bear the registrar’s signature and the university seal. The transcript is a complete record of all academic work taken at Woodbury University, regardless of whether the student was enrolled as degree-seeking or non-degree-seeking.

Official transcripts are not processed if the student has an outstanding obligation, financial or otherwise.

Grades are recorded on transcripts at the end of each academic semester. Normally, transcripts are mailed within three business days although a student may request that transcript requests be held until grades and/or degrees for the current term have been posted.


Online

Woodbury University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide transcript ordering via the Internet. To order an official transcript, log in to Clearinghouse’s secure site.

If you are a first-time visitor, you will be directed to create a personal profile and user ID/password which you will use to place future orders.

The site walks you through placing your order, including delivery options and fees. You can order as many transcripts as you like in a single session. To ensure confidentiality and to comply with federal regulations when using the Internet, you must authenticate yourself. Alumni and students electing to use the online service are presented with the “Consent to Release” form. Completing the “Consent to Release” form is required, and it must be returned to NSC before orders are processed and credit cards are charged.

You can return your “Consent to Release” form by using one of the following methods:

  • Fax the form to (703) 742-4238.
  • Scan and email the form to transcripts@studentclearinghouse.org (scan attachment must be a GIF, JPEG, BMP, or TIFF).
  • Mail signed form to National Student Clearinghouse, 13454 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 300, Herndon, VA 20171.

In addition to the convenience of credit-card payment, the online service provides email notifications as orders are received and processed by the Registrar’s Office.

The National Student Clearinghouse provides the online ordering service for Woodbury University students and alumni 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Orders placed will be processed within 2-3 business days by the Registrar’s Office.

On-Site

Walk-in requests for transcripts can be made at the Registrar’s Office in the Miller Building. The office is open Monday-Friday.

If a transcript is to be released to a third party, written authorization from the student or alum is required. Parents can obtain their child’s transcript provided they have written authorization from the student.

By Mail

Students and alumni can also order official transcripts by mail.

Requests should include the following information:

  • Name(s) used during enrollment
  • Approximate dates of attendance
  • Date of birth
  • Social Security number
  • Number of copies requested
  • Where to send the transcripts
  • Current telephone number (in case we need to contact you)

All requests must be signed by the student or alum. Unsigned requests will be returned to the requestor.

Requests should be mailed to the Registrar’s Office at P.O. Box 7846, Burbank, CA 91510-7846.
